I've always been a fan of the beat em up genre, both classic, in the Double Dragon sense, and modern, in the Devil May Cry sense. I've always liked the original Double Dragon in spite of its shortcomings, but somehow skipped over the second game in the series, returning to it with the disappointing Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones. It wasn't until this last week that I finally got a chance to play through Double Dragon II: The Revenge (thanks for the copy, Nathan) and I was absolutely pleasantly surprised, enough so to say that aside from the recent Double Dragon Neon, this is now my favorite game in the series.
