Ghost's Towns has been updated! Coming up on the game's one year anniversary next month, we now have some new dialogue that hopefully clarifies some questions, a new NPC, some new shortcuts, and a slight rearrangement of two buildings. Best of all, the run button now works in most places.

Ghost's Towns Final Release Available
I've made some minor edits, color adjustments, bug fixes, and additions to Ghost's Towns since the test release, so now's the time to call it officially complete and release an updated version. Enjoy! An Android port is on the way too.
You awaken in a mysterious town with no identity, no bearings, and an alien body. Ten trials await; complete the trials and find a truth.
Ghost's Towns is a surreal puzzle game set in a world of sad monsters and suspicious strangers. Players complete objectives around town to earn tokens which can be used to activate machines to peer into another world.
The world of Ghost's Towns is inhabited by both new and old faces, featuring cameos from Super Walrus Games titles of the past, including many unreleased games. The idea of the Tower of Truth comes from an unreleased portion of Surlaw Armageddon that was to serve as that game's final chapter. The town functions as a sort of graveyard of ideas.

Ghost's Towns Now Available
I'm still waiting on feedback from testers, but I'm too excited to sit on this any longer: Ghost's Towns is now complete! Consider this an open beta or something. The game is fully, completely playable, though some minor changes or additions may occur later. It's available for free right now on Windows, Mac, and Linux. An Android version will be available at a future date. I'd love to hear any feedback you've got!

The Evil Within (2014, PS4) - A Nightmare in Krimson City
One of the rules of video games is that if Shinji Mikami directed it, I'm probably going to like it. From his directorial debut with 1996's Resident Evil to the perfect, ridiculous brawler God Hand in 2006 to the wonderful robo shooter Vanquish in 2010, Mikami has tackled a number of genres and proven himself an expert at adapting his off-beat humor and detail to all of them. Even with Resident Evil 4 in 2005 Mikami showed an experimental side, taking the series he started and shifting it from zombie b-movie horror to a creepy, funny mix of 70's European horror and 80's American action movie bravado. His latest title is the first from Tango Gameworks, a company Mikami founded after Vanquish was completed. With The Evil Within, Mikami returns to the survival horror genre he helped father, writing a love letter to horror, both games and movies, then and now.

P.T. (2014, PS4) - Perpetual Terror in a Waking Nightmare
Announced in the middle of Sony's Gamescom 2014 conference on August 12 and released on the Playstation Network that very day, P.T., a first person horror title by fictional game development house 7780s Studio, is a great many things. It's a genuinely good horror experience, an obtuse puzzle meant to bring online communities together to solve, and the best marketing project I've ever seen in the video game industry.
